So here, 20 random facts about me.


01) I am better at this than my sister. On the site I frequent (www.prince.org) there is a big cummunity that likes to post threads like these. My siter smuggled with the last few 'facts'. Boo! Boo!

02) I am addicted to music. I illegally (yes) download around 40 albums per week. I am especially very smitten with discographies; 37 albums by David Bowie in ONE go, all PJ Harvey's albums. Latest are every album by German DJ's Tiefschwartz and 15 albums on the Putumayo label; all world music. While I am writing this PJ Harvey's 'Hair' started playing.

My favest artists/bands ever are Prince, Björk, Kate Bush and Joy Division.

03) When I was young I was so geekish I was cool, but I never realised.

04) All the cats I ever gave names were named after cartoon characters. My current cats (DeeDee & Dexter) are very shy and I am often irritated by the amounts of hair that you find EVERYWHERE and stinking litter boxes... until they start purring...

05) I have to admit that dealing with the loss of my mother is the hardest thing I ever had to do, even after having lost my first boyfriend; I often have the feeling she is still there and when I realise she is not I fall into this deep pit again.

Knowing I have an understanding brother and sister is the best comfort I have...

06) I do not have any curtains in my living room, just two sheets I pull up every evening.

07) I might be in love, but I am scared to give into it.

08) I am addicted to all the kinds of foods and candy that are not good for you. I am currently eating four 'sausijzebroodjes' (hot buns with meat), while one snack should be more than enough...

09) I wish I had the money to buy the Lego version of the AtAt.

10) I just burped. Real loud. I can. Cuz I live alone with two cats and they do not give a damn. They just care for a clean litter box, lotsa food and even more cuddles.

Cat fact; my tom cat Dexter has got a kidney disease. His diet food is REAL expensive. If I did not come to any birthday in the family it is cuz I love my cats. Sorry, sis.

11)] Life can be so confusing when it comes to relations or financial stuff, but so damn' simple when a sun ray catches your eye to draw attention to the many beautiful skies nature bestows on us.

12) My favourite Prince song is probably the unreleased version of Prince & The Revolution's 'Databank'. My favourite Prince related artiist/album is Eric Leeds' Times Squared, as it shows Prince is unbelievably surprising when working in different ways than his own boring way of producing.

13) Time, as experienced by humanity, is forgetful.

14) I bought two Belgium newspapers and A french magazine for my brother because the featured specials on the new release of Asterix & Obleix, even though I do not think he collects the series...

15) I have a magic wand, but it makes me look like a faerie. It's got purple sparkly thingies on it.

16) I am addicted to the internet. I should be sleeping.

17) I am way too selfish. Way too many people have been way too nice for me without getting anything in return.

18) I dreamt I was engaged to Prince bleedin' Harry of Windsor last night. It's actually the second time I had a dream like that. I have NO idea where the dreams come from, except my tendency to have a weakness for redheads.

19) Of the many, many albums I own, Kay Starr's Rising Starr collection is probably the one I enjoy the most. I am awfully melancholic.
